Welcome to RunningFeet Podiatry

Sports Podiatry involves the assessment and treatment of injuries to the lower limb and foot. Conditions treated vary widely but include common problems such as Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, ankle, shin and knee pain. Vitally important in the prevention of injury and the optimisation of sporting performance is the assessment of the structure and function of the body and analysis of running gait.

Podiatrist

Jenny Timms graduated from Plymouth University with a first class honours degree in Podiatry. Choosing to specialise in sports injuries she gained an MSc in Sport & Exercise Medicine at the University of Exeter, passing with distinction. Since then she has worked alongside physios, surgeons, sports therapists and coaches both privately and within the NHS, treating patients ranging from recreational to elite athletes. Outside work Jenny is a keen endurance athlete, having competed in over 20 marathons as well as multi-day ultramarathons, adventure races, triathlons and the 2009 UK Ironman. She climbs regularly both in the UK and abroad.
